Last October, AIST 21 decided to change software by choosing padoa. The experts of this Côte-d’Or service started on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 with their new prevention platform.
Discover the feedback of Christine Taddei, Director of AIST 21, on their transformation, the software change project phase, the data migration and the support provided by the padoa teams.
Can you introduce your service?
AIST 21 is the inter-company Occupational Health and Prevention Service of Côte-d’Or.
Its head office is based in Dijon.
With 140 staff, AIST 21’s teams support 11,500 members and their 125,000 employees.

What were your goals in choosing padoa?
We had several goals with this choice:
Having an IT tool that will let us meet the challenges of the new reform, in particular the core offering and the indicators to be produced. padoa will let us track new indicators to better manage the service. We will have day-to-day indicators, for example the teams’ activity in terms of AMTs and medical visits, or overdue visits. And we will also have action indicators, for example the occupational risks most present among the employees monitored by our service, to guide our actions.
Making our staff’s daily work easier. We wanted to offer a more efficient tool, in particular for the medical teams. Fast data entry frees up time to devote to prevention. Less administration for more prevention!
Offering new services to our members with their easy-to-use dedicated space. The member space is, moreover, part of the core offering. In addition, the new software will let us improve the traceability of our actions with members. We are in a dynamic of continuous improvement.
Securing the health data we process. We no longer host data on our servers in our centres, but with an approved host. We also have two-factor authentication to log in to our software.
Tell us about the project phase
For the project phase to go well, it is important that the OH service’s teams make themselves available. We had anticipated this, and everything went well!
I thank the padoa teams for the time they devoted, their listening and their patience. You have to realise how much work the service has to do: it takes time to respond to the padoa teams’ requests, for example on configuration and data migration. This time is needed before the project and even after.
What feedback did your teams give on the training?
The padoa trainers were very educational and clear in their presentation of the tool. They took the time to answer all of our staff’s questions. The hands-on exercises offered let people start getting to grips with the tool and also reassured some of our staff. In addition, materials were made available, which was very much appreciated.
What feedback did your teams give on padoa’s support on deployment day?
AIST 21’s staff appreciated having the padoa teams physically by their side for the go-live. This was a big novelty for us compared with our last experiences of changing software, and it is a real plus worth highlighting! They were able to ask all their questions in person and be guided when needed.
We had a lot of positive feedback from our staff when they discovered the padoa tool. There are still many questions, which is normal. There are also new ways of working to get used to, in particular for the medical assistants and the appointment notice process, which is now by email and no longer by phone. The hardest part is starting with a new tool while having to keep working. Some would have liked to have the software opened up earlier.
The teams are realising that what they were told is true: the tool is easy to use, user-friendly and intuitive!
On the members’ side, it is important to communicate well in advance. The teams currently spend a lot of time answering their questions, in particular about the member space, which is much more comprehensive and interactive.
Did you find all your data in your new software?
Yes, absolutely. This was a concern for some of our staff at the start of the project, but the padoa teams were able to reassure us on this point.
How are you approaching your transformation over the coming months?
Very positively! AIST 21’s teams have got through the hardest stage of learning the tool.
In 2 or 3 weeks, they will be able to benefit from all the features of the padoa software. The longest adjustment will be for the assistants: they have to adapt to their new ways of working and to how things operate with members.
This new tool should let our staff save time on certain administrative tasks, which they can devote to supporting their teams and members.
In the coming months, we will be able to harmonise practices and analyse various indicators.
A word to conclude?
I would like to highlight the importance of the padoa teams’ listening: they are attentive to the needs of the profession, with a tool that is constantly evolving and real responsiveness. We are confident about the future.
